DataDirect XQuery – High Performance, Scalable XQuery Engine

DataDirect XQuery is an implementation of the XML Query Language (XQuery) that you can use to query relational databases, XML, and legacy data (EDI, CSV, and other data formats), or any combination of these data sources.

Release 3.1 provides high performance, scalable XQuery for MySQL database implementations (Enterprise and Community), Oracle 11g, Informix, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, Release 3.1 provides increased developer productivity with the direct support of ZIP files containing XML documents and the ability to transparently generate EDI as output of an XQuery using the DataDirect XML Converters.

Release 3.1 also provides for easy integration for Web Services, as well as additional performance and scalability improvements such as enhancements in streaming and document projection.
