In addition to its data aggregation capabilities, Progress DataDirect Data Integration Suite is an advanced data conversion tool, allowing developers to stream between any non-XML formats and XML, transparently reshape the XML for their application or store the XML in a relational database.
- EDI Standards –The Data Integration Suite supports programmatic, bi-directional access to virtually every EDI standard, including: EANCOM, EDIFACT, Edig@s, HIPAA, HL7, IATA Cargo-IMP, IATA PADIS, NCPDP, SEF (Standard Exchange Format), TRADACOMS and ASC X12.
- Flat File Formats – supports flat file formats like tab-delimited, comma-separated value (CSV), dBase files, and many more.
- BizTalk Server – deploys natively on BizTalk Server, enabling BizTalk applications to work with business data in any number of non-XML formats.
The Data Integration Suite accomplishes all this via high-performance Java and .NET components that provide bi-directional, programmatic access to virtually any non-XML file. The Data Integration Suite supports StAX, SAX, XmlReader, XmlWriter, DOM and I/O streaming interfaces, and can be embedded directly for transformation purposes, or as part of a chain of programs, or even inside XML pipelines.
