Shadow z/Services - Provides a secure, reliable and scalable foundation for mainframe integration which enables bi-directional use of existing legacy screens, programs and mainframe data with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOAs). Shadow z/Services provides an adaptable computing architecture based upon the needs of the enterprise, enabling the mainframe to participate in SOA as a Web services consumer or Web services provider.

Shadow z/Direct - Provides developers with directSQL access to mainframe data and applications (business logic and screens) utilizing industry standardODBC, JDBC or JCA(J2EE Connector Architecture) APIs.Shadow z/Directutilizes a proven,multi-threaded, mainframe server component to enable secure, reliableinteroperability at the highest level of performance and scalability, while also providing rich monitoring and diagnostics.

Shadow z/Events - Provides a single interface for the real-time capture, transformation and publication of critical mainframe business events occurring within Adabas, CICS, DB2, IDMS, IMS and VSAM environments. Without touching application code, Shadow z/Events captures mainframe based business events in real-time and asynchronously routes the event to distributed databases or business processes.

Shadow z/Presentation – Offers rapid legacy extension solutions for refacing and web-enabling 3270 screen-based applications ─ a critical need for organizations migrating to Service-Oriented Architectures (SOAs). Shadow z/Presentation gives developers a powerful capability for application transformation, enabling them to fuse one-to-one, many-to-one and one-to-many transactions on the back end, replacing the rigid, fixed granularity of mainframe screen-based applications with a streamlined Web-oriented application.

IDMS Extensions – An OCA family of APIs designed to free developers from restrictions traditionally encountered within IDMS environments — restrictions impeding the ability of IDMS data and applications to interact with common web-based, messaging, database, and mainframe standards as well as with other IDMS regions. Includes these OCA APIs: TCP/IP, MQ, Commit, EXCI, DB2, and Syslink.
